The PSM Series pipe cutting bandsaw uses bimetal bandsaw blades as the cutting tool and is used for cutting pipes and structural steel. It can be used as a standalone machine or integrated into a production line for automated continuous operation. This bandsaw cuts workpieces through high-speed blade rotation and vertical lifting of the saw frame, covering a wide range of pipe diameters, materials and wall thicknesses.
The bandsaw consists of the machine bed, worktable, column, saw frame, left and right centering clamping devices, bandsaw blade tensioning device, main drive system, electrical system, cooling system, hydraulic system and other components.
The bandsaw is available in CNC and standard versions. When used with a production line it is typically supplied in the CNC version, in which a PLC automatic program provides integrated control of all machine functions as well as the associated material handling system, CNC fixed-length system, etc.
