SWM Series Internal and External Longitudinal and Circumferential Seam Submerged Arc Automatic Welding Machine

Product Overview

Solve your business pain points through innovative technical solutions

The SWM Series internal and external submerged arc longitudinal and circumferential seam automatic welding machine is mainly used for automatic welding of internal longitudinal seams, external longitudinal seams, and girth welds of pipes and pressure vessel shells. The equipment consists of a cross-type boom welding machine, drive roller beds, an ultra-compact submerged arc welding head and submerged arc welding power source, a vision system, etc. With the ultra-compact submerged arc welding head, it can be inserted into the interior of pipes and vessels with a minimum inner diameter of Φ300 to perform internal longitudinal or circumferential seam welding. The vision system allows the internal weld formation to be viewed on the operation panel, offering excellent operating convenience and welding stability.

Welding Quality

Stringent process standards ensure the reliability of every weld

  • Inspection passed: High welding quality; welds pass RT/UT inspection.
  • Mechanical properties: Meets the requirements of pressure tests or mechanical property tests such as impact, tensile, and bending.
  • Attractive appearance: Weld formation is smooth and neat, free from pores, undercut, cracks, slag inclusion, incomplete penetration, lack of fusion, and other defects.
