In the nuclear power and thermal power industries, main pipelines are characterized by large wall thickness, special materials, and large diameters. A single workpiece usually weighs between 5T and 20T, with high welding quality requirements and a high degree of difficulty in the welding process.
The beveling machine adopts our company’s PEM series CNC high-speed beveling machine, using an insert cold-chip cutting beveling process. The CNC beveling machine system has a built-in bevel graphics library that covers all current pipe beveling forms, such as I-type, V-type, U-type, X-type, double-V, V+U, double-V+U, as well as inner beveling, inner boring, outer diameter machining, flat end face, etc. It is an ideal piece of equipment for high-speed pipe beveling.
Our company’s heavy-duty pressing-type automatic welding machines and heavy-duty chuck-type automatic welding machines can meet the prefabrication automatic welding needs of thick-wall high-pressure pipelines in the power construction industry. Professional welders are not required to operate the equipment to ensure welding quality. The equipment uses a chuck lifting reinforced main unit or a heavy-duty pressing main unit and a specially designed drive structure, providing strong driving torque to ensure the stability of rotational welding. During welding, the chuck clamps the end of the workpiece to drive rotation, while the cantilever welding machine travels to each weld position for welding. A single clamping operation can meet the automatic welding of welds at different positions on the same pipe section, realizing automatic welding between pipe to pipe and pipe to fittings, such as pipe + pipe, pipe + elbow, pipe + flange, pipe + tee, pipe + reducer, pipe + end cap, and fitting + fitting. The equipment operates stably and delivers excellent welding quality.
