Recently, Tianchen Company and Second Chemical Construction Company of China National Chemical Engineering, together with Shaanxi Yueneng Fine Chemical Materials Co., Ltd., signed an EPC general contracting agreement for utilities and auxiliary facilities for a 1 million t/a high-end chemicals and new materials project. This is an important practice of China National Chemical Engineering in implementing the “T+EPC” business innovation model and marks a good start in the domestic market in 2025.
The project is located in the southern area of the Qingshui Industrial Zone of Yushen Industrial Park in Yulin City and is a key Shaanxi provincial project for “extending, supplementing, and strengthening industrial chains”. It features a long industrial chain and a high degree of interconnection between units, among which the DMTA unit is the first industrial demonstration unit, placing very high demands on the engineering technology of utilities and auxiliary facilities. After completion, the project will improve the local chemical industry ecosystem, form an industrial cluster, enhance regional competitiveness, and support the green transformation of Yulin’s energy industry.
Through the layout of its Northwest Regional Center, China National Chemical Engineering provides precise services via a matrix-style collaborative model. This cooperation highlights its technological and management advantages in the field of high-end chemicals, will promote the localization of high-end chemicals, and inject impetus into the transformation of the energy and chemical industry.
