This PPCW series heavy-duty chuck-type automatic pipe welding machine is mainly used for prefabrication automatic welding of medium- and thick-wall high-pressure pipelines in industries such as petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, and electric power construction. It adopts a chuck lifting reinforced main unit and a specially designed drive structure, providing powerful driving torque to ensure stability during rotational welding. During welding, the chuck clamps the end of the workpiece to drive its rotation, while the cantilever welder moves to each weld position to perform welding. A single clamping setup meets the requirements for automatic welding of welds at different positions on the pipe section. Since large-diameter medium- and thick-wall high-pressure pipes are heavy and horizontal height adjustment is inconvenient after being mounted on the machine, a chuck lifting adjustment method is used to adjust the clamping height, which greatly improves clamping efficiency and significantly reduces the clamping difficulty and labor intensity for operators.
